To honor public service employees who have fallen in the line of duty while serving our communities.
The Memorial Scholarship Fund awards post-secondary education scholarships to surviving children and spouses of local and state government employees who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities. Today, the fund also honors fallen employees in the education, health care, and not-for-profit sectors.
Since 2001, the Fund provides financial assistance to the surviving spouses and children who are planning to attend an accredited two-year community college, four-year accredited university, or vocational school full-time and is administered through our partners: Scholarship America, National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, and Concerns of Police Survivors.
